Will you act as the master of ceremonies?

In addition to curating your music, your SoundProof Entertainment DJ doubles as your master of ceremonies. With confidence and ease, we engage your guests, ensuring they feel involved and entertained throughout your event. From important announcements to maintaining event flow, count on us to keep your celebration organized and seamlessly running.

What music will you bring to my event?

With a music collection spanning over 70 years, SoundProof Entertainment guarantees to satisfy any musical taste. Featuring 100% digital professional audio, we can instantly confirm and locate guest requests if we have them to keep the party going. We recommend filling out your music request lists to ensure we have every song you desire, just in case it's something we may have missed in our extensive catalog.

Will you purchase music that is not already available?

Absolutely, music is what we are all about. In the unlikely event we do not have a song that you are looking for, notify your DJ prior to your event and we will be more than happy to locate it without any additional charge.

How will you be dressed for my event?

Our DJs always dress to match the occasion. Whether your event is formal or casual, rest assured we'll be appropriately attired, be it in tuxedos or khakis, based on your preferences. For weddings, formal attire is standard unless otherwise specified.

 

What type of equipment do you provide?

We only 100%  professional DJ equipment. All of our systems are designed by highly skilled sound engineers. This ensures that your event will sound as clean and professional as possible.

Do you have backup equipment?

Yes. While it's important to use high-end equipment that is designed for professional use, a professional will also be prepared for the unexpected.

Will I have a written contract?

Without a doubt. We prioritize transparency and professionalism. We've heard the unfortunate tales of couples left in the lurch without written agreements. With SoundProof Entertainment, you'll always receive a comprehensive contract. We're fully licensed, insured, and committed to your satisfaction.

How involved are you in helping us plan our music?

At SoundProof Entertainment, we're here to support you every step of the way when it comes to planning your music. We're more than happy to offer our expertise and provide suggestions for your special dances, cocktail/dinner hours, and ceremony.

Our online planning form makes it easy for you to select songs for spotlight events and special dances. You'll also find an online request list section, where you can list 15 'must play' songs and 15 'if you get a chance' songs. This gives us the flexibility to use our years of expertise during the open dance section of the night, ensuring everyone has a great time.

If you're looking to plan the entire open dance portion of the evening yourselves, we might not be the best fit. However, if you're seeking a professional DJ who will use your song requests to curate a killer playlist tailored to you and your guests, count on us to keep the dance floor rocking all night long!

 

When do you arrive to setup?

We always arrive on-site at least an hour and a half before the contracted start time of the event. Occasionally there are times that would require us to be at the event earlier or even the night before. We are happy to work with your venue to accommodate everyone.

 

Are you insured?

SoundProof Entertainment carries full liability insurance through the National Association of Mobile Entertainers. Our policy covers us up to a value of $2,000,000.

 

What are the terms of payment?

We require a $350 retainer. The final balance is due 14 days prior to your event.  Flexible payment plans are always available! Because holding the date for you means saying no to any number of other possible clients the deposit is non-refundable. We accept cash, Venmo, PayPal, check, and credit cards (Visa, MC, and Discover).

 

What do you require from my venue or event site?

One power source (120-volt, 15-amp circuit on a grounded outlet) within 15 feet of where the DJ will be set up.

 

Can we speak with previous clients?

Since we do not want to have any of our clients worry about anything other than having a good time, we feel confident that our unsolicited online reviews speak volumes about our customer satisfaction.

 

Can we visit you at a performance?

Out of privacy and respect for the others on their event day, we do not permit potential future clients to visit a wedding. We're confident our online reviews, references, and marketing materials will speak to our business. You can be assured that there won't be any crashers on your big day, either!
